Our newly genetically refined SADHU has great resin potential and is a favourite among growers looking for a hardy, easy to grow indica with a balanced high.
Sadhu develops chunky and compact buds. Some are not as tightly structured as in Hashberry. Which is why this grower commented he found Sadhu buds more suitable for bubble hash and more productive for resin extraction than Hashberry. But, on the other hand, few growers utilize buds for hash production and tend to use only the shake (manicured bud leaves).
A number of Sadhu plants will develop resin even on the fan leaves!
You can see an example of that on the photos. Therefore this strain provides a lot of quality shake for hash enthusiasts.
Is she difficult to manicure? I would say no. Calyx-leaf ratio is on average 60-40 with some plants topping at 80-20. This is a very good ratio for an indica. You can just chop off the leaf tips and leave the rest to dry. The THC-glands on the bud leaves are of course just as psychoactive as on the calyxes. Why waste prime bud material that you can smoke?
The aroma of Sadhu is complex and interesting. This strain shares some of the Kashmir land race genetics of Hashberry. But the aroma of both strains does differ. Sadhu has a unique aroma that reminds one of the scent of spices in an oriental-bazaar. A mildly sweet and flowery aroma is often accompanied in the aroma. The taste is something we don't describe in the strain details because it depends on cultivation methods, curing, etc.
In fact, even the aroma is influenced by such factors...

Sadhu je kombinací speciálně adaptovaného samce z Himalájských hor a jednoho z našich nejrychleji dozrávajících indika-sativa hybridů. Tato odrůda je poctou legendární marihuaně pocházející z vysoko položených Indických horských údolí a poutnickým asketům, kteří udržují naživu tradici pěstování konopí. Robustní a kompaktní Sadhu je především vhodný pro indoor pěstování, kde jeho nižší vzrůst a kratší doba květu budou jeho hlavní předností. Sadhu je také díky dosahované výšce cca 1,6 metru vhodný pro outdoor pěstování na ukrývaných políčcích. Prostředí s nízkou vzdušnou vlhkostí během posledních dvou týdnů kvetení umožní vyšší výnosy. Některé rostliny jsou více obrostlé listy a proto budou bonusem hašišovým nadšencům. Její aromatické charakteristiky dávají vzniknout pikantnímu, přesto však jemnému kouři. High je vyjímečně příjemná!
Another fine Sadhu female at 56 days of flowering. The growth pattern in coco is a bit different than in soil. Sadhu tends to develop a longer headbud, filling spaces between the internodes, in organic or soil grows. However, the yield is in both substrates very satisfactory, thanks to the dense buds that are heavily crusted with THC glands.
Další pěkná samice Sadhu v 56 dnech na květu. Skladba růstu v kokosu se od hlíny trochu liší. Sadhu má tendenci při organickém pěstování, nebo v hlíně vyvíjet delší centrální palici a vyplňovat místo mezi internody. Přesto je výnos v obou substrátech velmi uspokojující, díky hustým palicím, které jsou pořádně ztvrdlé krystaly THC.

I'm checking our photo library...but I think nobody sent us an outdoor photo yet. But anyway this strain is great for growing outside in southern climates! You can plant early and get a giant plant ( to control size top the main shoot), or you plant later until June for a shorter plant. Both versions you get fat, fat colas.
@Dudušek: no worry, I answer all questions...but it's so busy now that I can't look into the forum every day. I hope you understand.
For outdoor growing I made a special thread here - take a look. Sadhu you can certainly take a chance to grow. You should cut the main shoot 1-2 times and grow the plant more bushy. This way the colas are not too fat and that helps against mold in case you get a lot of rain/humidity before harvest.
If you grow from seed then do it later in the season: sometime end of May-to end of June. Plants get used to the daylight becoming less and it makes them go into flowering sooner (flowering is controlled by a light-sensitive hormone).

I´have been planting strain SADHU, and I was given a bonus seeds SAFARI mix. I have to say that plants which came from mandala seedbank are very resinous and were grown healthy during whole period, but I had had problems with germination.Almost all seeds were unable to burst!so I had to help them with pincers, and some of them I´ve broken......
Plants were looking good and the smell was georgeous, but I had a feeling that the high wasn´t so strong as other plant from various seedbanks(paradise or dutch-passion)
Anyway the price is great, I mean you will get quality seeds for less than 20euro....

First time I hear about the seeds not able to open and we never have any problems too. Really! How did you germinate them and what happened? In water, paper tissue, soil...?
About the high...which plants are you talking about? Safari Mix or Sadhu? How did you grow them?
Our regular strains are very potent and used by med growers too who have cancer or are HIV positive. If you have some doubts about potency I need to know more details on your grow.
