SETUP
♦ Growing environment:
A cellar, with pasive intake air, active exhaus to outdoor. Humidity around 44%, temperature 16-18°C
♦ Planting boxes:
Pre-grow- Two 90 litres barrel.
Full grow & flower - 500L water barrel with lid.
♦ Growing pots:
Pre-grow- 1 liters
Full-grow- 5 liters
♦ Soil:
Pre-grow- Soil for Palms and green plants.
Full-grow- Soil for Palms and green plants with 2/3 soil with active humus. + Perlit
♦ Fertilizers:
General Hydroponics, Flora series (Grow, Bloom and Micro) with Ripen. + Power Thrive (B1 vitamin from G.E.T)
♦ Ventilation:
300 m3/h, 22w, 230v
♦ Lighting:
Pre-grow- 100w HPS Osram Nav-T with choke, starter and compensation condenser.
Full-grow- 250w HPS Osram Nav-T with choke, starter and compensation condenser.

Seed Selection

CHAPTER II
Germination
6 (2 pieces from every strain) seeds have been inserted between two plates and on a paper napkin.
After 48 hours they had nice sprouts but only 5 of 6. They are now in a Rockwool. The last seed was moved into polythene sack for 100% humidity.
Now I'm waiting for the first leaves. |

Plants on the photo will be transferred into pre-grow box.

CHAPTER III
Planting
5 plants in rockwool have been transplanted to soil.
Cracked seed is doing nicely. For a day or two goes into the soil too.
PH of a water reduced to 6.0, EC 0,2
(It is said that we have baby water.)

CHAPTER IV
Vegetation
Plants are 9 days under sodium light.
Last plant had problems, stuck in a shell. When I helped, I unfortunately plucked leaves. So will grown only 5 plants.

13 day of vegetation
Plants were transferred into 5-liter pots.
Lamp was turned horizontally.
Humidity around 50% and temperature 16-19°C.

Hi mate!
Yes, they are growing very well, thanks for the update.
Hope they can adapt fine to the new 5 litre pots. Don't give them much water in the first 10-15 days in that pot. Start with only 300ml of water because if you use more thant that the soil will take too long to dry and that is not good for the plants. After that, when they have the roots bigger, you can water with more water, like 1 litre per pot, more or less.

The plants came first watering with fertilizer.

36. day of vegetaion

these dense indica have huge fat leaves. I fear that I will have to wait long before they grow up to the required height.

The plants have been implicated in the screen.
Tomorrow I switch to flower. It will be exactly 6 weeks of growth.

CHAPTER V
Flowering
Finally, I switched! Lighting was decreased to 12 hours.
Yesterday watering- 15ml Grow, 5ml Bloom and 15ml Micro per 5 liters (pH 5.9)
They make me happy.
The plants had 45 days on the vegetation.
Taking photos is now sadly a lot harder.

Worries are gone!
The plants for the last three days grow in wonderfully.

8. day of flowering
Watering- 10ml Grow, 10ml Bloom and 5ml Micro per 5 liters (pH 6.1)
Snow fruit is missing15 cm to reach a top of the screen.
Flowers are beautifully green.
Humidity: around 45%
Temperature: Night 15-16°C, Light 16-18°C.

Screen have been added. A building of Snow fruit looks more like a sativa but his leaves like a indica. A long stick, with a main, top bud and a smaller bottom.
Double white looks wonderfull and Black jack buds being the same leaves.

This was the last watering with fertilizers.

A most mature plant. 30-50% of the pistils are brown. The resin is still clear.

A plant with massive top bud. Smells a lot of fruit (appropriate name). 10-20% of the pistils are brown. The resin is still clear.

90% of the pistils are brown. The resin is hardened to white.
Double whites will be harvested in the next few days. |

CHAPTER VI
Harvest
Today were Double Whites harvested. They had 69 days on flowering.
The resin is white and somewhere brown. The plants were cropped and hung (rather). I can´t wait to smoke it. |

Yesterday were Snow Fruits harvested. They had 71 days on flowering.
The resin is white. The plants were cropped and slitting. Now are dried on a drying screen.

| So, today were Black Jack harvested. He had 76 days on flowering period. The resin was hardened. The Buds are wonderfully hard! I never saw and growed something so hard like that. It seems that this plant´ll be the most profiting. |

CHAPTER VII
Drying
The plants are drying on a homemade screen. In the room is 50-60% relative humidity. About 20-23°C.
Double whites were moved into glasses. They have 8 days drying and now stalks cracking. Another 8 days will be in open glasses.

Storing
All the beautiful plants are now in glasses in the cabinet. There is a cold and dark. |

CHAPTER IX
Smoke report
The smoke report was made in hurry, I had dryed the Black Jack only for 18 days.
Double white
Taste of smoke smells a bit like soil, grapefruit and bit of vannila. Dry herb smells of tzatziky and mint. The smoke is sweet with a hint of dill. Morphology according to the ancestors (indica 60%), the construction seems to be polyramics. The effect is manageable, energetic, about an hour and a half. After two hours I did't felt tired nor sleepy.
Quality of effect: 5/6
Power of effect: 4/6
Flavor: 5/6
Overall rating: 5/6 - peaceful state.

Snow fruit
You can smell something like smoked meat, when exhale. Morphology is more similar to the sativa´s, big, long, massive top bud but leaves are typical indica´s. The resin does not have a noticeable odour. There is no sign of expressive taste. The effect is gradual. I am confused 10 minutes after smoking. Very strong!

Power of effect: 5/6
Flavor: 4/6
Overall rating: 5/6 - First hour is amazing!

Black jack
The resin has practical no odor. You feel just green vegetation and chlorophyll. Top buds are hard as rocks. Taste is sadly noncommittal. The effect is also very strong. First hour i just gape. Psychadelic high effect after first hour.
Quality of effect: 4/6

Flavor: 2/6
Overall rating: 4/6 - odourless.

CHAPTER X
Recapitulation
Germination was 100% succesfull! Plants had grown quite slowly, needet 45 days of vegetation period. After change period, they grow up to the top of barrel. Almost 40 cm. First mature plant was Double white, then Snow fruit and as the last one Black jack. After non-violent drying, they have following weight:
2x Double whites ............ 51.7
2x Snow fruits.................. 53.8
Black Jack......................... 26.3

Overall ................131.8 grams.
