- We will share 9 seeds with each contestant (until the 1000 seed stock for the contest ends), 3 packs of 3 seeds to be chosen among our varieties. The users that receive seeds will have to post a grow diary right here in this subforum;
- Only users from European countries where seeds are legal are allowed to enter this contest (we are really sorry for all the others, but we can't break the laws, especially in a public contest);
- We will only send seeds to the users that were previously registered in Grower.cz before the date of this post and with at least 10 messages posted in the forum. Users that don't fulfil the requirements to receive seeds, for one or other reason, can participate with their own Sweet Seeds seeds or clones, even if the date of registration in this forum is after the publication of this contest;
- Each grow diary in the competition must be done by only one person. No partnerships accepted, it should be 100% your own work. But contestants can do multiple grow diaries. We have more than 6 months until the contest end... so, if you have the time and will to do more than one diary, you’re allowed to post more than only one. Still, bear this in mind: quality is more important than quantity;
- We give preference for grow diaries posted in english. If you have enough knowledge of the english language we would prefer if you post it in english. Even if the language skills are poor. But if some of you really can't post a diary in english we also accept that you post it in Czech, no problem anyway.
We will evaluate :whisperer
- The aspect/appearance of the plants;
- Tidiness and general appearance of the grow room;
- Quantity and specially quality of the photos, showing the growth evolution of the plants;
- Originality of the methods, techniques and resources applied;
- Frequency of posting;
- Companionship and fair play demonstrated.
All grow diaries have to be finished before the 1st of June. The winners will be publicly announced by the 3rd of June 2012 :guitarist

Every month* we offer an amazing prize to the "Sweet Seeds Grower of the Month". The winner gets 250 euros in cash
*January, February, March, April and May
Rules for the "Sweet Seeds Grower of the Month" prize:
1 - In the first day of each month (referring to the previous month), the Sweet Seeds jury will nominate 5 contestants as candidates to receive this prize. In the same day a public poll will be started with the duration of 5 days (120 hours)*;
2 - We will only consider as valid the votes from users who registered in Grower.cz before yesterday (November, 22). As the voting will be public the Sweet Seeds team will check one by one the profiles of the voters, to confirm the registration date. All the votes from users registered after the 22nd of November will not be considered as valid and will be reduced from the total. In the end, 1 or 2 days after the poll closes, Sweet Seeds will announce the final result with only the legitimate votes;
3 - In the eventuality of a draw situation the Sweet Seeds team reserves the right to give to their own panel of judges the power to decide who will be the winner;
4 - Once elected as "Sweet Seeds Grower of the Month" the contestant can’t be nominated again for this prize until the end of the contest. By other words, each contestant can only be elected has grower of the month in one ocasion. But, obviously, will still be elegible for the final prizes. Actually, every winner of this prize will be a strong candidate to the final prizes.
*As the poll system of the forum does not allow to do public polls (where we can see the nicknames of all the voters) we will have to make a public voting on a thread dedicated to the "Grower of the Month" prize. If we used the poll system of the forum we wouldn't be able to ensure that rule nr. 2 is respected. In conclusion, each user registered in the forum before yesterday (November, 22) can vote by posting a message just saying "I vote for xxxxx". This is to avoid that a user can create multiple user names to vote several times in a specific candidate.
Final Notes ★ Important!!!:whip:
- Sweet Seeds reserves the right of changing at any moment the method of election of the “Grower of the Month”, but will only do it in case the Sweet Seeds team realizes the poll election system we are going to try does not allow for a minimum of veracity when it comes to decide who’s the winner.
- Sweet Seeds reserves the right of changing any detail on the bases at any time. But only if we think there is something we can turn better and never to reduce prizes or to make the contest more complex.
- The prizes will only be considered valid when we have 40 contestants with a diary started in the contest subforum. Until then Sweet Seeds reserves the right to don't consider the prizes valid and/or abort the competition. We think we'll have much more but, of course, we reserve this just in case. Limit date to have 40 contestants: 31st of March.
- Also, we reserve the right to decide if the "Sweet Seeds Grower of the Month" prize from January should be (or not) attributed if by the 31st of January we have less than 25 contestants with a diary started in the contest subforum.
- Prizes from the 2nd place to the 20th place will be sent to the winners in a maximum of 50 days after the winners are announced. The "Sweet Seeds Grower of the Month" prize will be sent in a maximum of 21 days after the winners are announced.
How to participate
To be accepted for the contest, besides fulfilling the requirements published on the contest bases, you should follow this 3 steps:
- 1 - Send a private message to me (Sweet Seeds);
- 2 - In the PM you should specify: the 3 strains you want to receive for the contest; your name; a complete address (street, door number, postal code, city, country...); and a phone number so that the delivery company can contact you in case you are not home when seeds arrive;
- 3 - Once you send the PM you should use this thread to confirm that you have apllied for this contest. You won't be considered until you express in this thread your will to participate.
Please don't send PMs asking questions about the contest or with comments. If you want to ask or comment anything about the contest, please do it here in this thread. Please be simple and direct in your PM.

:megafon: Pravidla Soutěže
- Každému soutěžícímu zašleme 9 semínek (dokud nevyčerpáme zásobu 1000 semínek pro tuto soutěž) - 3 balení po 3 semínkách, které si vybere z námi nabízených modelů. Uživatelé, kteří od nás semínka dostanou, si potom budou muset vést "růstový deníček" přímo zde, v tomto subfóru;
- Naší soutěže se mohou účastnit pouze groweři z těch evropských zemí, kde jsou semínka legální (je nám opravdu líto ostatních, ale obzvláště proto, že je soutěž veřejná, nemůžeme porušovat zákony);
- Semínka zdarma zašleme pouze těm uživatelům Grower.cz, kteří byli registrovaní předtím, než byla tato soutěž vyhlášena, a mají ve fórech minimálně 10 příspěvků. Uživatelé, kteří tato kritéria nesplňují, se soutěže mohou účastnit se zakoupenými semeny Sweet Seeds, nebo rostlinami z klonů z našich semen;
- Každý deníček v soutěži musí být dílem jednoho člověka. Takže žádná spolupráce, měla by to být na 100% vaše vlastní práce. Účastníci však mohou mít deníčků několik. Máme spoustu času, takže jestli se vám chce, můžete udělat deníčků víc. Pamatujte však, že kvalita je důležitější než kvantita;
- Preferujeme deníčky v angličtině, takže pokud angličtinu zvládáte, tak prosím pište v angličtině, i pokud si myslíte, že je vaše angličtina slabá. Pokud někteří z vás z nějakého důvodu v angličtině psát nemůžete, přijmeme i deníček v češtině.
Budeme hodnotit :whisperer
- Vzhled rostlin;
- Pořádek a celkový vzhled skříně;
- Množství a hlavně kvalitu fotek, a to, jak ukazují růstový vývoj rostlin;
- Originalitu použitých metod, technik a zdrojů;
- To, jak často do deníčku přispíváte;
- Projevy fair play a přátelství.

Každý měsíc* nabízíme úžasné ceny pro "Sweet Seeds Growera měsíce". Vítěz dostane 250 eur na ruku.
*Leden, únor, březen, duben a květen.
Pravidla pro soutěž "Sweet Seeds Grower měsíce":
1 - Vždy první den v měsíci vybere porota Sweet Seeds ze soutěžících 5 kandidátů na tuto cenu. Ten samý den začne veřejné hlasování, které bude trvat 5 dní (120 hodin)*;
2 - Za platné budou považovány pouze hlasy členů Grower.cz, kteří se stali členy před 22. listopadem. Protože hlasování bude veřejné, tým Sweet Seeds bude prověřovat profily všech hlasujících. Všechny hlasy členů registrovaných po 22. listopadu 2011 budou od výsledku odečteny. Sweet Seeds poté do 1-2 dnů vyhlásí právoplatného vítěze hlasování;
3 - Pokud nastane situace, že bude hlasování vyrovnané, vyhrazuje si tým Sweet Seeds právo na rozhodnutí kdo bude vítězem;
4 - Pokud jednou "Sweet Seeds Growera měsíce" vyhrajete, nemůžete už na něj být znovu nominováni. Jinými slovy tuto soutěž můžete vyhrát jen jednou. Samozřejmě tím ale nevypadáváte ze soutěže o hlavní ceny. Právě naopak. Každý vítěz měsíční soutěže se stane velmi vážným kandidátem na celkové vitězství.
*Protože systém anket na Grower.cz nedovoluje veřejnou volbu (kde bychom viděli jména hlasujících), budeme muset pro volbu udělat zvláštní thread "Grower of the Month". Pokud bychom použili klasickou anketu, nebyli bychom schopni kontrolovat dodržení pravidla 2. Takže hlasovat se bude komentářem ve fóru, která bude vypadat asi takto: "I vote for xxxxx". Tímto eliminujeme vytváření falešných účtů za účelem hlasování pro jednoho kandidáta.
Další informace ★ důležité!!!:whip:
- Sweet Seeds si rezervuje právo na změnu metody výběru Growera měsíce, ale toto uděláme pouze v případě, kdy zjistíme, že navrhnutý způsob volby nemá dostatečnou věrohodnost pro rozhodnutí o vítězi.
- Sweet Seeds si rezervuje právo na změnu kteréhokoliv detailu pravidel. Toto ale uděláme pouze v případě, pokud budeme chtít něco zlepšit, nikdy to nebude snížení výher nebo ztížení soutěže.
- Ceny budeme rozdávat pouze v případě, že v subfóru bude "rozjeto" minimálně 40 soutěžních deníčků. Dokud tomu tak nebude, má Sweet Seeds právo na zrušení měsíčních/celkových cen. Myslíme si, že vás bude o dost víc, takže tohle pravidlo je jen tak pro jistotu. 40 účastníků potřebujeme nejpozději do 31. března.
- Dále si rezervujeme právo na rozhodnutí, zda udělíme cenu pro Growera měsíce za leden, pokud budeme 31. ledna mít méně než 25 načatých deníčků.
- Ceny za celkové 2. - 20. místo budou vítězům zaslány do 50ti dnů od vyhlášení vítězů. Ceny za měsíční soutěž pošleme do 21 dnů od vyhlášení.
Jak se zúčastnit?
Abyste se soutěže mohli zúčastnit, je kromě splnění podmínek třeba učinit následující 3 kroky:
- 1 - Pošlete mi (Sweet Seeds) PM;
- 2 - V PM specifikujte: Vámi vybrané 3 modely z naší nabídky, které chcete pěstovat, vaše jméno, kompletní adresu a telefon (kvůli doručení semen);
- 3 - Po zaslání PM byste měli použít tento thread k potvrzení svojí účasti. Dokud v tomto threadu nepotvrdíte svoji účast, nebudete zařazeni mezi účastníky soutěže.
Neposílejte prosím PM s dotazy a komentáři k soutěži, využijte k tomu tohoto threadu. Ve vašich PM buďte prosím struční a přímí.

So... who will be the first user from Grower.cz to receive a cup in the HighLife CannabisCup in Amsterdam?
Hope you guys enjoy the contest and we end up with a good participation. If you know of some users of this forum that don't understand english but might be interested, tell them about it ;)
We already do this contest in for 3 years now in two other cannabic forums (one from Spain and other from the United Kingdom) and always with great success. We usually have more than 70 contestants in the other forums, but here, to start, we expect at least 40 contestants so that the competition is viable and Sweet Seeds could then keep on doing this contest in Grower.cz year after year. I'm sure we'll have much more than that, but if you guys can help to spread the word among your grower friends, would be great.
I leave you an article from a previous year about the trip to Amsterdam and this contest in this post, but if you want to see it with better quality check the Soft Secrets nº 4 of 2010, page 32.

Actually you're not the first, I already received some requests by private message, not much but we already have a few ones. Would be good if people posted also here in the contest thread expressing their will to participate but we can't be very demanding here because many of you guys don't speak english. I still have to speak with one of my bosses to know what they think about having so few participants since que contest bases were published a week ago. I hope that if you guys spread the news about this contest among your friends and colleagues we will end up with an acceptable number of contestants, but if you look at the contest bases the seedbank reserves the right to decide if the contest is valid until the end of March... and in case there are very few participants the prizes can be aborted or changed. Anyway, the free seeds once in your hands are yours and so at least you know you'll get 3 packs of free seeds... that's the least you'll get from participating in this contest ;)
About your situation that's all right my friend, you can do your mini Vscrog, each contestant can do it the way he prefers. We leave everything open so that everyone can enter the contest, for example:
- You receive 9 seeds but you can do a diary with less than 9 plants or with more than 9 plants (if you have extra seeds or if you want to clone the plants you'll get from the seeds we offer);
- For the most paranoid ones who don't want to receive seeds from Spain, you can also participate in this contest with your own Sweet Seeds seeds, that you can buy in Czech Republic in any growshop or even with your own clones, in case you already have a mother from a Sweet Seeds strain;
- The size of the grow area is up to each contestant, it can range from a micro grow to a huge grow;
- If you are now growing other plants you still can participate. The contest only ends in June so you can start in February and still have plenty of time to finish it before the contest ends.

mr.brown: just out of curiosity... are you Czech? Your english skills are great so I'm curious about if your are from Czech Republic or if you are from any english speaking country.
Just to finish my post I can tell you that in other forums, once the grow diaries start to be posted by the participants, all the other users of the forum get jealous for not being on the party. In the end everyone wants to be part of it. That's why we have more than 200 contestants participating right now in a spanish forum and more that 120 contestants in an english forum. Around here, with so few participants, it would be the easier forum to win a prize... so I wonder if you guys are going to let this opportunity pass.... The opportunity of wining a CannabisCup in Amsterdam :goldcup:

Vlastně nejste první, už jsem dostal nějaké žádosti soukromou zprávu, ne moc, ale už máme několik z nich. By dobré, kdyby lidé zaslali i zde v soutěži vlákno vyjádřili svou vůli podílet, ale nemůžeme být velmi náročné, protože tu mnozí z vás nemluví anglicky. Stále mám mluvit s jedním z mých šéfů vědět, co si myslí o tom mít tak málo účastníků od základů que soutěže byly zveřejněny minulý týden. Doufám, že když vás rozšířit zprávu o této soutěži mezi svými přáteli a kolegy, skončíme s přijatelným počtem soutěžících, ale když se podíváte na soutěži zakládá seedbank si vyhrazuje právo rozhodnout, zda v soutěži je platná do Koncem březen ... a v případě, že je jen velmi málo účastníků ceny může být zrušen nebo změněn.
Každopádně, bez semen jednou v ruce vaše, a tak aspoň víte, že si 3 balení zdarma semena ... To je to nejmenší, co dostanete z účasti v této soutěži ;) O své situaci, která je v pořádku můj přítel, můžete si udělat svůj mini Vscrog, může každý soutěžící to, jak se mu hodí. Necháme vše otevřené, takže si každý může vstoupit do soutěže, například:
- Obdržíte 9 semen, ale můžete dělat deník s méně než 9 rostlin nebo s více než 9 závodů (pokud máte další semena, nebo chcete-li klonovat rostliny dostanete ze semen Nabízíme);
- Pro ty paranoidní ty, kteří nechtějí přijímat semena ze Španělska, můžete také zúčastnit této soutěže s vlastní Sladké semena semínka, které si můžete zakoupit v Česká republika v žádném Growshop, nebo dokonce s vlastní klony, v případě už máte matka z kmene Sladké semena;
- Velikost plochy rostou, záleží na každém soutěžícím, může sahat od malých růst do velké růst;
- Pokud se nyní pěstování jiných rostlin stále můžete zúčastnit. Soutěž končí pouze v červnu, takže můžete začít v únoru a ještě spoustu času, aby dokončil to před zápasem končí.

mr.brown: Jen tak pro zajímavost ... Jste česky? Ty anglické schopnosti jsou skvělé, takže jsem zvědavý, pokud si je z Česká republika nebo máte-li ze všech anglicky mluvících zemí.
Jen do konce můj příspěvek bych vám říci, že na jiných fórech, jakmile vzroste deníků začínají být příspěvky účastníků, všechny ostatní uživatele fóra žárlit za to, že na party. Na konci každý chce být jeho součástí. To je důvod, proč jsme více než 200 soutěžících se účastní právě teď ve španělském fóru a více než 120 soutěžících v anglické fóru. Tady se tak málo účastníků, bylo by to snazší fórum vyhrát cenu ... tak jsem qonder Pokud vy se chystáte nechat tuto příležitost projít .... Možnost Jídlo CannabisCup v Amsterdam :goldcup:

You can have a plant from a different seedbank but it would be better if you keep her out of your grow diary. Like removing it when you take the pictures or at least not identifying the plant.. It's like it can be there, no problem at all, but it will not be considered for the contest and the evaluation will be made only based in your Sweet Seeds plants. Doing only Sweet Seeds is better, but only because your job ends up being much easier. Anyway one plant is not that significant ;)
And yeah mate, I know the online translator sucks, hehe, but for someone who doens't know a word from english at least they'll get some words and a few ideas about what I'm saying in english, hehehe. But I think I'll stop using it soon anyway, as soon as I see some people hanging around and all..

Just to inform you that we have 20-25 participants so far.
I think that the first seeds for this 20-25 contestants will be sent next week. If you enter the contest until tomorrow (sunday) night you'll still be part of the first lot of seeds that we are going to send. If not, no problem, you can enter the contest for at least a couple of months more and when we get more 10 or 15 contestants, probably a week or two after, we'll send another lot of seeds...

★1st Sweet Seeds Grow Diary Competition★
:girl: Pro uživatele Grower.cz máme v cenách více než 4000€ :girl:
:megafon: Pravidla Soutěže
- Každému soutěžícímu zašleme 9 semínek (dokud nevyčerpáme zásobu 1000 semínek pro tuto soutěž) - 3 balení po 3 semínkách, které si vybere z námi nabízených modelů. Uživatelé, kteří od nás semínka dostanou, si potom budou muset vést "růstový deníček" přímo zde, v tomto subfóru;
- Naší soutěže se mohou účastnit pouze groweři z těch evropských zemí, kde jsou semínka legální (je nám opravdu líto ostatních, ale obzvláště proto, že je soutěž veřejná, nemůžeme porušovat zákony);
- Semínka zdarma zašleme pouze těm uživatelům Grower.cz, kteří byli registrovaní předtím, než byla tato soutěž vyhlášena, a mají ve fórech minimálně 10 příspěvků. Uživatelé, kteří tato kritéria nesplňují, se soutěže mohou účastnit se zakoupenými semeny Sweet Seeds, nebo rostlinami z klonů z našich semen;
- Každý deníček v soutěži musí být dílem jednoho člověka. Takže žádná spolupráce, měla by to být na 100% vaše vlastní práce. Účastníci však mohou mít deníčků několik. Máme spoustu času, takže jestli se vám chce, můžete udělat deníčků víc. Pamatujte však, že kvalita je důležitější než kvantita;
- Preferujeme deníčky v angličtině, takže pokud angličtinu zvládáte, tak prosím pište v angličtině, i pokud si myslíte, že je vaše angličtina slabá. Pokud někteří z vás z nějakého důvodu v angličtině psát nemůžete, přijmeme i deníček v češtině.
Budeme hodnotit :whisperer
- Vzhled rostlin;
- Pořádek a celkový vzhled skříně;
- Množství a hlavně kvalitu fotek, a to, jak ukazují růstový vývoj rostlin;
- Originalitu použitých metod, technik a zdrojů;
- To, jak často do deníčku přispíváte;
- Projevy fair play a přátelství.
Deníčky musí být uzavřeny do 1. června. Vítězové budou veřejně vyhlášeni 3. června 2012 :guitarist

!! 250€ každý měsíc !!
Každý měsíc* nabízíme úžasné ceny pro "Sweet Seeds Growera měsíce". Vítěz dostane 250 eur na ruku.
*Leden, únor, březen, duben a květen.
Pravidla pro soutěž "Sweet Seeds Grower měsíce":
1 - Vždy první den v měsíci vybere porota Sweet Seeds ze soutěžících 5 kandidátů na tuto cenu. Ten samý den začne veřejné hlasování, které bude trvat 5 dní (120 hodin)*;
2 - Za platné budou považovány pouze hlasy členů Grower.cz, kteří se stali členy před 22. listopadem. Protože hlasování bude veřejné, tým Sweet Seeds bude prověřovat profily všech hlasujících. Všechny hlasy členů registrovaných po 22. listopadu 2011 budou od výsledku odečteny. Sweet Seeds poté do 1-2 dnů vyhlásí právoplatného vítěze hlasování;
3 - Pokud nastane situace, že bude hlasování vyrovnané, vyhrazuje si tým Sweet Seeds právo na rozhodnutí kdo bude vítězem;
4 - Pokud jednou "Sweet Seeds Growera měsíce" vyhrajete, nemůžete už na něj být znovu nominováni. Jinými slovy tuto soutěž můžete vyhrát jen jednou. Samozřejmě tím ale nevypadáváte ze soutěže o hlavní ceny. Právě naopak. Každý vítěz měsíční soutěže se stane velmi vážným kandidátem na celkové vitězství.
*Protože systém anket na Grower.cz nedovoluje veřejnou volbu (kde bychom viděli jména hlasujících), budeme muset pro volbu udělat zvláštní thread "Grower of the Month". Pokud bychom použili klasickou anketu, nebyli bychom schopni kontrolovat dodržení pravidla 2. Takže hlasovat se bude komentářem ve fóru, která bude vypadat asi takto: "I vote for xxxxx". Tímto eliminujeme vytváření falešných účtů za účelem hlasování pro jednoho kandidáta.
Další informace ★ důležité!!!:whip:
- Sweet Seeds si rezervuje právo na změnu metody výběru Growera měsíce, ale toto uděláme pouze v případě, kdy zjistíme, že navrhnutý způsob volby nemá dostatečnou věrohodnost pro rozhodnutí o vítězi.
- Sweet Seeds si rezervuje právo na změnu kteréhokoliv detailu pravidel. Toto ale uděláme pouze v případě, pokud budeme chtít něco zlepšit, nikdy to nebude snížení výher nebo ztížení soutěže.
- Ceny budeme rozdávat pouze v případě, že v subfóru bude "rozjeto" minimálně 40 soutěžních deníčků. Dokud tomu tak nebude, má Sweet Seeds právo na zrušení měsíčních/celkových cen. Myslíme si, že vás bude o dost víc, takže tohle pravidlo je jen tak pro jistotu. 40 účastníků potřebujeme nejpozději do 31. března.
- Dále si rezervujeme právo na rozhodnutí, zda udělíme cenu pro Growera měsíce za leden, pokud budeme 31. ledna mít méně než 25 načatých deníčků.
- Ceny za celkové 2. - 20. místo budou vítězům zaslány do 50ti dnů od vyhlášení vítězů. Ceny za měsíční soutěž pošleme do 21 dnů od vyhlášení.
Jak se zúčastnit?
Abyste se soutěže mohli zúčastnit, je kromě splnění podmínek třeba učinit následující 3 kroky:
- 1 - Pošlete mi (Sweet Seeds) PM;
- 2 - V PM specifikujte: Vámi vybrané 3 modely z naší nabídky, které chcete pěstovat, vaše jméno, kompletní adresu a telefon (kvůli doručení semen);
- 3 - Po zaslání PM byste měli použít tento thread k potvrzení svojí účasti. Dokud v tomto threadu nepotvrdíte svoji účast, nebudete zařazeni mezi účastníky soutěže.
Neposílejte prosím PM s dotazy a komentáři k soutěži, využijte k tomu tohoto threadu. Ve vašich PM buďte prosím struční a přímí.

Well, in my opinion the best for medicinal use from the Sweet Seeds catalog are Cream Caramel, SAD, Mohan Ram, Green Poison and Snow Fruit.
But some people can also take good benefit out of Black Jack, Jack 47 or Wild Rose.

I could do that but right now I'm a bit busy and don't have time for that. But while participants start their diaries you'll be able to see it for yourself. There are a few strains that are more likely to be chosen than others, but it's all very levelled anyway.

I'm rather well, thanks for asking :) I was just curious about the grower's choices, since SS offer so many original varieties... and I tend to be obsessed with statistics sometimes :D
I'm going to start my grow in about two weeks time and my hands are already itching :)

Yes, participants are expected to grow the 9 seeds, so it will be 9 plants.
For some participants that can't grow the 9 plants it is also possible to only grow 5 or 6, for example, but it is not so easy to do an impressive work with 6 plants than it is with 9 plants.
So, it is your decision but you have a good advantage if you grow the 9 plants ;)
