Hi everyone!





As you can read in the Contest Bases the grow diaries have to be finished before the 1st of June. This means that we will only consider valid the posts until 23h59m of the 31st of May. Then you can keep posting if you want, but it will not be considered by Sweet Seeds jury.

So be sure that you finish your grow diaries and post everything that you want to post until the end of May. I think the Sweet Seeds jury will have a hard work to decide because in my opinion there are 3 or 4 grow diaries that are really very good and very similar in quality. In this phase every detail may make a difference so make sure you complete your diaries the best you can. I heard the jusy usually enjoys a goos smoke report and final comments to the strains and their growth.

There will be also the last grower of the month prize. As usual the 5 nominated will be announced by the 2nd of June and the votings will be from the 2nd till the 7th of June.

I remember you guys that the winner will win a weekend in Amsterdam to receive his cup in the HighLife CannabisCup 2012 stage. And 500€ for personal expenses. Second place will win 400 euros in products from the Sweet Seeds growshop and 3rd place will get 200 euros in products. Then from the 4th to the 20th Sweet Seeds will offer a Sweet Seeds prize lote, with 2 packs of seeds and merchandising from the seedbank like t-shirts, hats, lighters, etc. This prize lote will go to almost everyone, so make sure you finish your diary if you want to be sure that you'll get it.

Hi again my friends!

We hope that we can announce the final standings until 23h59m of tonight (3rd of June, sunday). Maybe we end up having to delay it for 24h hours or so, because there are lots of diaries to look at and evaluate, and most of them are very big, as you all know. Surely much more diaries and posts to check than we expected when we decided to make this contest. But my colleagues will do their best to send me their evaluations until 23h59m of tonight and I'll do my best then to create the post with all the results for you guys.

Let me take the opportunity to speak a bit more about the contest and how the diaries are evaluated. We really think that every detail about this contest should be clear to everyone so I'm glad to share all the info possible with you.

The final winners are decided by the Sweet Seeds jury, which are composed by 5 persons from the seedbank who are already looking for a couple of days to all the diaries from grower of the month winners and another 8 or 9 diaries that I will suggest for them also to look at. So they will end up having to evaluate a total of around 12 diaries.


>>> They will evaluate the diaries according to the 5 parameters announced:

- The aspect/appearance of the plants;

- Tidiness and general appearance of the grow room;

- Quantity and specially quality of the photos, showing the growth evolution of the plants;

- Originality of the methods, techniques and resources applied;

- Frequency of posting and companionship (fair play) demonstrated.


...each worthing 20% of the final result.


In the end I will post the results with all the details, so the best 10 diaries will have a detailed evaluation where you will be able to see how the juries evaluated your diary in the 5 different parameters.
